We are very pleased that Willem Swart, former Dutch champion, has been our professional for the past few years. Besides individual and group lessons, Willem also organizes golf clinics. It is possible to create a personalized program to suit your skill level.
A short biography
Born in 1957, Willem Swart, the son of the head greenkeeper of ‘De Pan’ in Bosch en Duin. That's why Willem at a very young age was very often to be found on the golfcourse. When he was fifteen years old he joined the Dutch youth team; as a member of this team he became youth champion strokeplay and matchplay.
After high school in Holland, he went to the United States to further his education at the St. Diego Golf Academy. After his studies he became the manager of two golf clubs and in 1983, Willem, went back to Holland to become a golfpro and golf instructor. In 1986 he became pro at the golf courses of ‘Berendonck’ and ‘Amsterlborgh’.
In 1991 Willem left Holland for France and in that year he joined the national Profchampionship and became the Dutch national champion.
Between 1994 and 1997 Willem returned to Holland and became the head-professional of the new golfcourse ‘Efteling’.
Still yearning to go back France, he made his permanent move to Limousin in 1997, and has since then been our golfpro!


Clinic

We offer you the possibility to learn and understand all the components of the game of golf. In golf terms we’ll call that a ‘clinic’. Any company, club or group of friends can participate in a golf clinic. You can choose what you like to learn for that day, your age and experience aren’t important. The planning of a basic-clinic consists mainly of:

• a demonstration by the golfpro;
• practicing your swing;
• practicing putting;
• practicing pitching and strokes from a bunker.

At the end of the clinic, 9 holes are played so you may practice all the skills and techniques you learned for that day. After the clinic you can enjoy a drink or dinner in our bar/restaurant.

We recommend that the clinic is composed of no more than 10 people, so you’ll be assured of the best results.
